This year we have a lot of activities planned for you and your customers:

3. The Venous Lunch Symposium

1. The Live Cases will take place at Tuesday, 28th of January in the Main Area 2 – Room 2 from 8:0011:00 am.

The procedures will be done by Dr. O’Sullivan from Galway, Ireland and Prof. Dr. Kucher from Berne, Switzerland.

2. Meet the expert – This year we will have 2 experts in the field of venous therapies at our booth.

Dr. de Graaf (interventional radiologist, Maastricht) and Dr. Jalaie (vascular surgeon, Aachen) from the European Venous Center Aachen-Maastricht will answer all questions regarding venous interventions at the following times:

· Tuesday, 28th of January at 12 pm (Dr. Jalaie) and at 4 pm (Dr. de Graaf)

· Wednesday, 29th of January at 10 am (Dr. Jalaie) and at 2 pm (Dr. de Graaf)

· Thursday, 30th of January at 2 pm (Dr. Jalaie)

3. Venous symposium – The lunch symposium with the title “The role of stenting in venous interventions” will take place in the technical forum on January 29th from 12:35 to 13:20 pm.

Worldwide known Key Opinion Leaders will talk about various topics in this field:

1. Endovascular therapy for acute and chronic venous obstructions – Prof. Dr. N. Kucher (Berne, Switzerland)

2. Percutaneous mechanical thrombectomy and stenting of acute iliofemoral deep vein thrombosis – Dr. M. Lichtenberg (Arnsberg, Germany)

3. Tips and tricks for venous stenting – Dr. R. de Graaf (Aachen/Maastricht, Germany/Netherlands)

4. One year follow-up of the sinus-Venous stent by the European Center Aachen-Maastricht - Prof. Dr. C. Wittens (Aachen/Maastricht, Germany/Netherlands)

The lunch symposium will take place in the technical forum on January 29th from 12:35 to 13:20 pm.

The technical forum with its 550 seats is one of the main auditoriums.
